Promises of 2 Chronicles 7:14

Key Points

  • The blessings of God will follow diligent obedience.
    • The blessing is not about getting things – it’s about being able to trust the Lord in our hearts to receive anything.
    • Humble yourself – acknowledge your need for the Lord.
    • Seek His face – find out how God does things
    • Pray
    • Turn from your wicked ways – repent
  • What will God do if we are obedient?
    • He will hear from heaven – that is He will listen with intent to do what we ask.
      • He will not answer the prayers of the wicked.
    • He will forgive our sins.
      • This only comes through repentance – we can’t do something good and hope that God will forget about it
    • He will heal our land.
  • If the curses come suddenly, there’s a reason why.
  • Judgment will come, beginning in the church.
