The rewards we receive upon entering in to eternal life will be based on what we do in faith, out of love for God. The things we do of our own desires will be burned up in the fire.
God has plans for our lives. His plan does not involve simply getting us saved and then leaving us on our own. Sometimes He brings us out of trials, other times He brings us through them. Whatever the path, there is a purpose – God doesn’t bring or allow evil just for the sake of it. His plans and our plans don’t always line up – His plan is often contrary to ours.
