The Impending Storm

When King Hezekiah was told by the prophet what would happen after his death, his response was to say “at least there will be peace in my day.” Often times we in the church have the same attitude – as long as there is peace and prosperity in our lives we don’t always care about those around us. When we take that attitude, we will often find ourselves alone in the storm – we won’t have others come alongside and help us.

The Word forecasts storms – Jesus said they would come to our lives. Scripture prophesies what will come upon the world. Many want to deny that storms are coming and ignore the forecasts.

The forecast of the storm should lead us to prepare for the storm.

If we prepare for the storm, we should be looking to Jesus to be our provision in the storm.

Jesus will also be our protection in the storm.
