Truth is sorely lacking in the world today. It is the Holy Spirit who brings the truth to us. Even when we read the written Word, without the Spirit, it becomes law, not truth and life. In order for the truth to produce life in us, we need to plant the promises of God, from His Word, into good ground. Good ground is a heart that the Holy Spirit has renewed. He can only bring us that life if we spend time with Him. We need to make this time daily.
