In addition to the spirit realm, we have opposition to this new lives within ourselves. The “love triangle” is our biggest point of opposition. One point is the love of self, another is the love of of the world and the final is the love of the things of the world. We can achieve victory by changing this instead to be a love of God, love of the Kingdom of God and love of the Word of God.
Self-condemnation is another very powerful form of opposition that comes from within. Nothing good is within our flesh and we still have sin dwelling in our members. Even if we delight in the Lord and His word, the battle rages on in our members, but we should not condemn ourselves over it.
