Allowing God to Order our Footsteps

As part of the body it is critically important to remember the importance of each and every other member to the Lord. If each member is important to the Lord, to the point where Jesus intercedes for us constantly, we should be interceding for one another.

We are called to acknowledge the Lord in all our ways, no matter the circumstances. We should see the Lord and His blessings even in tough circumstances. Without rain, nothing grows. Thank Him for His provision and blessing, don’t complain about what is lacking or unpleasant in our lives. If we will allow Him, He will order our footsteps and create for us a smooth path through life. His desire is for us to succeed in everything we do. Doing things God’s way, seeking His wisdom and not relying on our own will result in prosperity in all areas of our lives. We will have health, life and financial prosperity. When prosperity comes to our lives, we need to be careful not to be like the Israelites who made the prosperity (the gold) their god. Blessings can take over our lives if we are not careful and don’t remember who it is that blessed us.

Only God knows what our full potential is in this life, and only He can arrange our lives to realize that potential. He wants to give us a good future with a hope. If our lives end up in the pit instead, then we need to acknowledge it is due to our own decisions – it’s not God putting us there. Following His lead will get us back out of the pit.
